Sit a while and take your ease and remember Seamus

Seamus Griffith Plaque

The Raheny Business Association commissioned a special plaque to remember Seamus Griffith and mark his incredible commitment to Raheny.

It was felt that the rose bed on Watermill Rd Opposite Main St, was the appropriate location, as it was his pride and joy which he tended every week.

A range of grasses, lavenders, other perennials and ground cover roses have been planted which hopefully will bloom in the coming weeks. A seat will also appear on the low wall so that you can “sit a while and take your ease and remember Seamus”

Our Thanks to the local Business Association members – Simone KF Landscape Architects, Brian Castlerock Builders, Jason Mr Magic, and of course Raheny Tidy Village who carried out the work over the last 2 weeks.
