Please say hello to Ross from Tully’s Total Health Pharmacy and the Co-Chair of the Raheny Business Association.
Hi folks,
My name is Ross, I am a third-generation pharmacist and the supervising pharmacist and owner of Tully’s totalhealth Pharmacy in the village.
I have been living in the village for the last 14 years and have been serving the local and not so local community for the last 13 years as a pharmacist in our pharmacy. I moved to Raheny from the west of Ireland in the height of the recession, but it did not take me long to realize the quality of life the community has to offer. It is reassuring to have so many likeminded businesses and people in Raheny, this is only highlighted by the number of clubs, groups and associations in the area
I opened the pharmacy in the premises of the old Spar store between the Library and Dr. Crosby’s surgery 13 years ago and while some were disappointed to see the Spar move on, it paved the way for a fast-paced community pharmacy. I have always had a passion for Pharmacy, helping people and a strong interest in technology and enjoy trying to bring all three together daily. We have been so grateful to watch our business grow form local to include a dispensing service, wide ranging delivery, and blister pack service for those in need in the community.
Obviously dealing with covid has had a huge impact on the business and while we have been fortunate enough to remain open, we have had a busy time adjusting to our new workflow, legislative changes and health and safety initiatives. I am personally looking forward to removing the physical barriers that we have had to put in place for social distancing and seeing more of all those smiling faces in store for a bit of a chat!
I remain grateful to my team for all their ongoing work during the pandemic, all our colleagues, customers and friends who have been so supportive and patient through the last 16 months as we look forward to getting our bustling village back to normal.
